If your machine does not have a mA-meter installed this is the first upgrade you should make for it.
With a meter you can keep a eye on the power levels and stay within the limits (16-18mA on 40w) to prevent overdriving and damaging your laser tube.
The digital panels are “stupid” and do not know what the level you actually set it to, it´s just a number between 0 and 100, and the laser tube is actually at full power at 65% already.
